All vines spread an infection like the poison creeper (within a certain radius) that has a different effect depending on the type of vine. All vines temporarily root enemies in place for a short duration (maybe 1 or 2 seconds). Vines can consume corpses even when beyond their store limit. Stored corpses have a limit that can be raised based on the skill level. All vines can store corpses, using them later on. Revert health/mana corpse vines back to old % per corpse consumed. I am not saying give the vines everything listed below, but maybe bits and pieces to give them more oomph and speciality. Why not make them useful while enemies are alive too? Currently, 2 vines have to wait for the enemy to die to be of any use. Realistically, even with the 1% per level buff, carrion vines and solar creepers still aren’t worth investing that heavily in it when I can just buy more potions. IMO, they all are very bland and need more work to be viable. I believe these vines are an opportunity to benefit each of his skill trees. I am eyeballing the druid’s vines specifically. I understand that skill reworks are unlikely to happen, but I believe they could breathe even more life into the game while preserving the d2 feel, and at minimum are fun to entertain. I know reworks aren’t too popular, but some talents are never going to be used and are essentially just skill tree decoration.
